I’m currently a little over 2 months post my rib rhinoplasty. Wow, crazy how time flies haha. I can’t believe it’s been 2 months since I flew to Turkey by myself?? To get an ethnic rhinoplasty from a doctor I found on Instagram?? That sounds crazy when I say it out loud LOL. Buttttt I’m loving my nose more and more every day, and am SOOO incredibly happy with my decision.
The uneven swelling has settled more.
I’m not even going to lie, there were moments where I would low-key freak out because my nose swelling was uneven. I knew that I had to be patient and that it would pass, but I couldn’t help but worry a little. I’m glad to inform you that the uneven swelling has settled more now hahaha.
My tip has dropped.
Look at the difference! I remember the day my surgeon took my rhinoplasty cast off and I liked the slope of it, but it just seemed off. I think that was because of the high tip. I absolutely love how the tip of my nose has settled.
My nose doesn’t drip as much anymore.
Oh my goodness, my nose used to drip sooo much. Every morning when I would go on my walk, I would have to pack q-tips and tissues to clean up the snot!! So cute lol. My nose doesn’t drip as much anymore, finally!!
My rib incision is completely healed.
I currently have a rib incision scar but I plan to do microneedling or a laser on my scar at about 4 months post op!! This will help with the cosmetic aspect of it. Other than that, it doesn’t hurt or anything!!
I still have 2 stubborn stitches.
I had 3 stubborn stitches, but one FINALLY fell off the other day lol. I was so excited. I don’t know why but the last 2 just don’t want to leave!! I’m hoping it falls off within the next week?? I’ll keep you posted.
